SV-6 “Spark Sentinel”
Origin Story
Forged from the shell of a mid-century Scripto VU-lighter display tin, SV-6 was originally part of a promotional unit designed to test ignition lighters in controlled wind environments. When the facility was shuttered, the equipment was repurposed for small-scale electronics experimentation. Decades later, fragments of the original test station were discovered by R3BOTS engineers while salvaging components from an abandoned Allied Control relay lab.
Among the debris was the VU-lighter chassis—still bearing scorch marks and faint traces of ozone. The team reassembled the unit using anodized blue valve fittings, a dual-socket stabilizer core, and high-pressure relay circuits from the Allied lab. Once connected to power, the robot sparked back to life, its core relay clicking in rhythmic precision as though guarding an unseen signal flame.
Now, the Spark Sentinel serves as a field monitor within the Volt Division, ensuring continuity across the network and recharging communication relays in high-voltage zones. It’s said that when nearby circuits surge, SV-6 emits a faint crackle—like a match being struck in the dark.
